Evidence for Enhancement: Improving the Student Experience

Our new Enhancement Theme, Evidence for Enhancement: Improving the Student Experience, launched on 5 October 2017. Staff and students from all 19 Scottish higher education institutions attended the event. This allowed us to discuss and agree what the Theme needs to cover. We also considered what success will look like by 2020 when the Theme will end – what improvements we expect to see in the student experience and how we will evidence those.

What will the Theme cover?

How can I get involved with the Theme?

Each institution has a staff and a student Theme lead, who you can contact. Because this is a new Theme, some institutions are still confirming these names.

You can get in touch with the QAA Scotland office for details of Theme events and related activities. Contact us by email: We will add details to this page, as we put plans in place.
